Culture Plays a BIG Role in Designing Your Ads & Vice Versa

In recent history, advertising has begun to meet the customer instead, engaging them by entering spaces the customer is already occupying and creating an organic, complimentary experience instead of an intrusive, unnatural one. Understanding the effect culture will have on your ads will play a rapidly growing part in creating an effective campaign, and as customers […]

The Significance of Groupon’s Local Business Pages

The Significance of Groupon’s Local Business Pages

Read original article on Search Engine Land A little over a week ago, Groupon announced a new option for opening business pages on its site. These pages will enable businesses to manage their online presence by adding images, client testimonials or special offers for Groupon customers, such as Happy Hours, nighttime specials, loyalty clubs, discounted bundles and more. Penguin & Pirate updates rolled out

Penguin & Pirate updates rolled out

Penguin update rolled out last week [Read the original article on Search Engine Land] After over a year of waiting, Google finally released the Penguin update. This update has to do with links and their quality. This is the longest period of time that has elapsed between updates, since Penguin was first introduced. Many were surprised to find out that despite the extended time between updates, and in spite of all the speculations, this recent update doesn’t seem to have been that devastating. In fact, Google’s Pierre Far said that this is only ‘a refresh’ and not an update. The difference between a refresh and an update is that in a refresh, Google simply runs the Penguin algorithm again, without adding any new parameters. In […]
